Stationary X-ray systems (HCV)

UAB MTS "Novatex" is an official dealer of manufacturing company Smiths Heimann GmbH (part of Smiths group) throughout the Baltic states. Companie's produced X-ray inspection systems are customer's recognised as one of the best in the world.

Stationary X-ray systems (HCV) are mainly used by customs officers, border guard, critical infrastructure facilities or zones with increased level of security where you need a quick and non-invasice method to inspect vehicles, from car till train.

Currently produced stationary and gantry systems:

CIP-300
low energy stationary system
HCVS
stationary high energy system
HCVP
high performance passthrough system
HCVG
high energy gantry system

CIP-300 Car Inspection Portal

Feature Highlights
Excellent image quality
High throughput in “drive through” mode
Compact design ensures small footprint

Optional
Vehicle conveyor system

Designed as a stationary system, the new CIP-300 Car Inspection Portal provides a fast and detailed search of cars, light commercial vehicles and mini buses to reveal hidden explosive threats, as well as smuggled goods and stowaways. It also offers unrivalled image quality due to its 300 kV X-ray source and symmetrical top shooter beam geometry.
The CIP-300 is designed for use at access points to public buildings, public and private utilities, military sites, ports and border crossings.
Using a conventional 300 kV X-ray source the CIP-300 offers a compact footprint and is competitively priced. The system is available in two versions, either ’drive through’ or equipped with a conveyor to allow inspection of an unmanned vehicle.
The ’drive through’ mode allows high throughput with minimal structural impact when the CIP-300 is integrated into an existing infrastructure. Radiation safety is ensured by compliance with ANSI 43.17.
Using symmetric top-down beam geometry, the system provides an excellent X-ray image of the inspected vehicle to highlight dangerous objects or substances and smuggled goods.
With a variety of operating concepts and options, the CIP-300 can be adapted to individual applications.

HCVS

Feature Highlights
Stationary X-ray system for the inspection of fully loaded trucks and containers
State-of-the-art technology for outstanding image quality
Ideal for maritime ports, border crossings and airports dealing with heavy traffic
Easy and fast processing with low staffing requirements
viZual technology for real organic/inorganic material discrimination

Optional
Automatic Radioactive Material Detection (ARD)
Discrimination high energy
Single of dual view technology
Single or dual tunnel version
Available in 6MeV & 9MeV

The HCVS is the most powerful tool in the HCV product range. It constitutes the optimized approach for customs or security inspections.
For custom and police authorities, this top of range system is an indispensable tool in preventing smugglers and terrorists from continuing their illicit operations through main border points.
Avoiding the necessity to open the truck or container, the HCVS reduces the need for manual inspection to a minimum.
As it is permanently installed on a dedicated site, it provides a swift inspection procedure for fully loaded trucks (wheels, chassis, tanks, load & tractor) and containers, allowing easy verification of customs documents. Its intuitive interface facilitates image analysis.
The HCVS is available in single or dual tunnel versions and can be equipped with single or dual view technology as well as high energy discrimination. These solutions ensure the detection and exact location of suspicious objects such as smuggled goods, weapons, explosives or drugs.

Specifications
Throughput 20 trucks per hour
Steel penetration up to 410 mm
Minimum staff requirement 3 operators

Product is offered in this region: Lietuva, Latvija, Eesti

HCVP

Feature Highlights
High throughput of up to 195 vehicles per hour depending on system version
Steel Penetration up to 300mm depending on system version
viZual technology available for HCVP 6030 viZual for real organic/inorganic material discrimination at 6MeV

Optional
Automatic Radioactive Material Detection (ARD)
Available in 4Mev and 6MeV
OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

The HCVP series systems offer accelerators delivering energy levels from 4MeV to 6MeV, allowing for steel penetration ranging from 230mm (9”) to 300mm (11.8”) while providing a high throughput of up to 195 trucks per hour with a scanning speed of 7 km/4 mph. This innovative automatic free-flow scanning procedure will guarantee a constant vehicle flow on site.
The system’s high performance imaging capability, known as viZual technology (optional), provides the operator with detailed radioscopic images of the container or vehicle
and its contents with organic and inorganic material discrimination and colorization based on atomic number for the assisted recognition of threats. The viZual feature allows for reliable results in a single scan.
The modular compact design of the HCVP provides the ability for the system to be relocated, adapting to the customer’s specific needs. The HCVP is a standalone unit which requires limited external infrastructure. The system is designed for ease of operation with a minimal footprint, while still integrating the most demanding international security screening requirements.
The HCVP system’s automated scanning procedure allows the vehicle or container to pass through the x-ray system. The scanning process starts when the end of the driver’s cabin has been detected. The driver and driver’s cabin are not scanned. When equipped with the automatic radioactive material detection - ARD (optional), the HCVP simultaneously carries out both the X-ray inspection and an analysis to detect the presence of radioactive gamma and/or neutron materials within the container or vehicle.

Specifications
Minimum crew requirements 1 traffic receptionist, 1 system operator, 8 image operators
Weight 12 000 kg.
Scanning speed 7 km/h
Operating temperature -20°C to +40°C

Product is offered in this region: Lietuva, Latvija, Eesti
